Change is hard, but it is also important to embrace it. There was a time where I harbored so much dislike for my new home, new town, and new school. But time passed, I opened up, friends were found and it began to feel like my home. And now there are moments when I wake up and miss the tops of the mountains and the morning fog rolling over from the ocean just waiting to be burned away from the unrelenting sun. This photo is a reminder that while change is difficult and painful, you have the power to turn that change into something beautiful.
