I took this picture on a trip to Canada this past summer. What struck me was the contrast between the busy city of Toronto and the serenity of the garden right next to it. I felt like I had been transported to a completely new place, but the tall buildings were still right there peering over the greenery. This shows that natural beauty and human industrialization can coexist if the effort is made. And this goes for other conflicting entities as well. We are one month into college and for new students like me, campus and classes can be both daunting and exciting at the same time. So here’s to the new school year; hopefully, you can find your tranquil garden in the midst of this bustling campus to stay grounded.
