Photo Friday #42

Sometimes it’s hard to simply pause. Pause to think about our surroundings and about what it is that we are or we are doing within that environment. Not only natural environment, but our community and school as well. I was dead tired after a busy day when I took this picture after getting off the bus. I was about to put in earbuds, hike home, and think about the homework I had to do when I stopped and realized the beauty of the sunset right before me. So fleeting, yet I caught it serendipitously. That made me pause. How nice it was to see something so simple yet glorious. It made the walk home much better!
