I went out for the first time in a week last Saturday, and the amount of joy that I felt when seeing the first leaf buds of the year was genuinely astonishing. Spring is my favorite season because it reminds me that things will grow even if you forget that they will, and I think that’s a reminder that I (and maybe all of us!) definitely needed this year.
